Itinerary:
  • DAY 1 ARRIVE AMSTERDAM AREA, HOLLAND
  • Welcome to UAE Exchange tour of Beautiful Europe !! Arrive at the Amsterdam Schiphol International Airport. After completing customs and immigration procedures, transfer by private coach to your hotel. Amsterdam is the largest city and the capital of the Netherlands. Amsterdam's name is derived from Amstelredamme indicative of the city's origin: a dam in the river Amstel. As Netherlands' commercial capital and one of the top financial centers in Europe, Amsterdam is also cultural capital of the Netherlands. Amsterdam is one of the greatest small cities in the world. From its canals to world-famous museums and historical sights, Amsterdam is one of the most romantic and beautiful cities in Europe. Amsterdam is also a city of tolerance and diversity. It has all the advantages of a big city: culture, nightlife, international restaurants, good transport - but is quiet, and largely thanks to its extensive canals, has a little road traffic.     DAY 2 AMSTERDAM – CANAL CRUISE AND LOCAL SIGHTSEEINGS

    Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today, enjoy a canal cruise to see the town from water level. A cruise along the canals of Amsterdam, giving you the chance to appreciate the city's elegant architecture. In a cruise boat for an hour, you will be taken along the beautiful imposing canals of historic Amsterdam. You will float alongside houses with clock, spout and neck gables, passing the Zevenbogenbruggengracht. Then for romantics, you will pass under the Skinny Bridge and over to the Amstel, the VOC ship and the docks. An unforgettable cruise! Later watch the cutting and polishing of precious stones at a diamond center in Amsterdam. Post this, sightseeing with a Local Guide who will point out the city highlights. Discover Amsterdam on this orientation tour through the city. You will be taken from the historical city centre, with its reminders of a glorious past, through 19th century quarters to modern day Amsterdam. A photo stop will be made at one of the remaining windmills Today you can also do an optional “Amsterdam At Night” Tour. Enjoy a ride through the nightlife center; see the pretty illuminated canals during a stroll through the red-light district with your local guide who will explain what might at first seem obvious! Stop for an included drink at a typical Dutch Brown café to experience real Amsterdam atmosphere. (Not suitable for children). Overnight in Amsterdam. (B,D)

    DAY 3 AMSTERDAM AREA–RHINELAND, GERMANY

    Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Another morning in Amsterdam to do as you please, or to discover the beautiful Dutch countryside on an optional excursion “Volendam & Zaans Schans”. Drive to Volendam where you will have free time to enjoy a stroll and view the sights. From Volendam continue to Zaanse Schans, a working open-air museum that demonstrates what life was like in the 17th and 18th centuries. During the afternoon you will also visit a cheese shop and clog maker for a demonstration. Later, travel southwards into the lovely landscape of the Rhine, where you will spend one night in Rhineland. (B,D)

    DAY 4 RHINELAND–RHINE CRUISE–LAKES LUCERNE, SWITZERLAND

    Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Start the day with an included Rhine steamer cruise with some legendary sights and some spectacular landscapes along the Rhine Valley. View the Lorelei rock which has so many legends attached to it. Rejoin the coach for a comfortable drive southwards to the Swiss border at Basel. The scenery becomes more and more fascinating as you approach Lake Lucerne for two overnights. Tonight you have an option of enjoying “Dinner & Swiss Folklore”. Contrary to belief, not all Swiss can yodel or blow the alp horn, but those you will see are real experts. They entertain you with merry melodies on the accordion and traditional dances while you enjoy a full 3 course dinner. Overnight in Lucerne. (B,D)

    DAY 5 LAKE LUCERNE

    Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Lucerne is one of Switzerland’s finest cities nestled amid its snowcapped Alps, surrounded by its lake, and embellished by the clear mountain waters of the River Reuss. Your visit takes in the impressive city walls, a covered wooden bridge, ornate patrician houses lining cobblestone streets, and the Lion Monument—a masterful stone sculpture in honor of the heroic Swiss Guard of Louis XVI. A grand selection of activities (included and optional) completes the day: a cable-car ride to the 10,000-foot summit of Mount Titlis, a cruise on the fjord-like lake, and, of course, there is time to shop for that very Swiss watch. Drive to Alpine Engelberg to take the Titlis-Rotair, the world's first revolving cable car, up to 10,000 feet where eternal snow resists even the summer sun. A panoramic view all the way up with 360 degree vistas of glaciers and icefalls. Also on the agenda is a visit to the Ice Grotto. Later in the evening you can optionally enjoy a “Scenic Lake Cruise”. An hour's guided cruise on the most beautiful lake in Switzerland gives you an introduction to this lovely city from a completely different aspect. With its many bays, it offers superb panoramas of the surrounding landscape. The area is rich in historical associations, particularly the William Tell legend. Overnight in Lucerne. (B)

    DAY 6 LAKE LUCERNE–PARIS, FRANCE

    Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy vistas of green pastures and attractive chalets with rustic timbering and luxuriant flowers. Then, into France on the fast highway, past some of its most famous vineyards, to Paris. Paris is confident that it's the world's most beautiful, fashionable and artistic capital. Visit just once and it's hard to disagree. Walking through the heart of Paris you often feel like you've wandered onto an art film set; much of the city has been scrubbed clean in recent years and it's never looked more fabulous. Its inhabitants are the definition of style, its architecture includes some of the most spectacular buildings and monuments in Europe and the ambience is by turns exciting, alluring and effortlessly romantic. Arrive in time to enjoy the optional “cabaret show”. A trip to Paris is not complete without a visit to a typical cabaret show. A glass of champagne is served during the show. Overnight in Paris.     DAY 7 PARIS

    Enjoy breakfasts at the hotel. One full day to explore the city that’s known throughout the world for its fashions, art and museums, delicious food, and joie de vivre. Included sightseeing with a local expert shows off many of the bestknown Parisian sights: La Sorbonne, Arc de Triomphe, Opéra, Madeleine, the Eiffel Tower entrance 2nd level, the Pyramid near the Louvre, the Invalides, and Champs Elysées. Celebrate the success of your tour with an optional “French farewell dinner”. The evening consists of a memorable four-course dinner with an aperitif and wine. After dinner you will enjoy a breathtaking orientation drive of the city. (B)

    DAY 8 PARIS

    Enjoy breakfasts at the hotel. Your vacation ends with breakfast this morning. Transfer to Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport for your flight back home with happy memories of the tour. (B)
